1973: Planasa was founded by CAJA NAVARRA and DARBONNE as a nursery for asparagus and strawberry plants.

1978: Planasa began using hydroponics to produce endive.

1984: Planasa began researching new varieties of asparagus and strawberries.

1987: Planasa began developing a fruit tree nursery, and then to research new varieties of fruit trees.

1991: Planasa began selecting seeds for virus-free garlic planting.

1993: Planasa began to export mainly in the Mediterranean region.

1997: Planasa was introduced to the American Continent through participation as technical partner with California Vegetable Specialties (CVS).

1998: Planitalia SRL was founded and began the importation, conservation and distribution of Planasa's products in Italy.

2000: Planasa Polska Sp. Z o.o. was founded in Poland to produce and sell early strawberry plants and expand the production to the northeast of Europe of other products like asparagus plants.

2002: Quality Management Certification UNE-EN-ISO 9001: 2000 obtained.
