Planasa has recently appointed Lope de Hoces Íñiguez as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). He will be part of the executive committee of the group, chaired by Alexandre Darbonne (CEO).
Lope de Hoces holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and an MBA from IESE. He also has extensive and successful experience in Human Resources management positions in multinational companies such as CEMEX and other national companies such as Redexis (formerly Endesa Gas T&D) and has led important transformation projects. During the last five years he has held the position of Chief Corporate Human Resources Officer in the industrial group Cementos Portland Valderrivas (Spain, Tunisia, Netherlands and United Kingdom).
Our CEO, Alexandre Darbonne, has stated that “the Planasa Group and especially the Human Resources department are facing important challenges of transformation in this new stage of growth and expansion that we are building together. I am fully convinced that Lope will successfully overcome all these challenges together with the rest of the human team within the Human Resources department”.
For his part, Lope de Hoces has acknowledged that “the agricultural sector has always been a very attractive sector for me professionally and being responsible for Human Resources at Planasa is an opportunity to participate directly in the vision that the two major shareholders have of the company. Planasa is currently changing to face the changes demanded by the sector. People are the focus of my function, so one of the main challenges is to accompany Planasa’s human team in this transition”.
