Variety: Milsei-Tudla®.

Origin:
Crossing between Parker x Chandler. Selected in the experimental field of PLANASA in Cartaya (Huelva), Spain. Bred and registered by Planasa - Inotalis. EU 935 (25-01-92)

Plant: Good vigour, light green colour and medium sized leaves. Globose habit and semi erect flowering levelled with foliage position that keeps unique peduncles along a large part of the productive cycle.


Flower:
medium size flowers are levelled with foliage or slightly over it, depending on culture cycle. Very good pollen quality.


Fruit:
It is very large with a long-coni¬cal shape. Its pulp is homogeneous red with a good balance between aci¬dity-sweetness. Surface is bright red with achenes levelled or slightly below surface depen¬ding on harvesting times. It demons¬trates acceptable resistance to harvesting and transport damage.


Harvesting:
Tudla is an early variety with a high yield.


Agronomical characteristics:
Milsei-Tudla® is a vigorous variety with a wide, strong root system. It is not recommended to add too much nitrate fertilizers, aminoacids, or biostimulatives that could provoke lar¬ger fruits and a reduction in fruit firmness. It is advisable to apply background calcium fertilizer in certain soils, as well as a proper fertirrigation rich in Potassium during the productive cycle.

Tudla is a plant variety bred by PLANASA and protected by plant breeder’s rights.
