PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES
Regular pruning: Pruning must be very strong, clearing all early branches and leaving those with best quality. Clearing of new suckers is not too intense. After fruit picking a summer pruning is important to improve branch quality. Pruning should not be too strong it should be done with a reduction on irrigation, in order to avoid the growth of new secondary branches.
FRUIT THINNING
Thinning is hard, since the number of fruits and branches is high.
It is advisable to pre-thin the tree, when the flowers bloom. The flowering is progressive in time and therefore, it will ease the thinning when fruits grow.
