Rafael Guitián Fernández de Córdoba has recently joined Planasa as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Rafael will join the executive team of the Planasa Group, chaired by Alexandre Darbonne (CEO) to continue the financial transformation the group has undergone over the past year and a half.
On the incorporation of the new financial director of Planasa, Darbonne has stated that he is “fully convinced that Rafael will know how to continue with the wonderful work previously carried out by Francisco Jiménez Sirvent and successfully deal with the important challenges we are facing not only from the financial perspective but from an executive and business point of view”.
In academic terms, Rafael is Doctor in Business Administration majoring in Finance, and he has a master’s in finance, both awarded by the Universidad Complutense of Madrid.
Professionally, Planasa’s new Chief Financial Officer has more than 20 years of experience in different financial functions (CFO, FP&A Director, etc.), Operations and he has even served as deputy general management. During the last eight years where he completed the process of a participation in a private equity fund, from the investment to the subsequent sale to a multinational in the sector, in which he has been working for the last two years until his incorporation to Planasa. Previously, he worked in national businesses with an international presence such as Vitaldent, in Spanish subsidiaries of parent companies listed on NASDAQ and other medium-sized companies.
